Programming Your Dish on Demand Remote
If you have codes, here are steps to program your Dish on Demand remote:
- Find the code of your TV from the list provided
- What you want to do is to hold the TV button on the remote down until the Sat,” “VCR” and “Aux” buttons bring up light. When you release the TV button, it will begin flashing.
- Using the keypad, put in the code and then press the # button. After this, the “TV” button should flash three times.
- Now, turn off the TV and then bring it back on. Once the code is correct, the TV should turn off and on, but if it doesn’t, you may want to put in the code again.
Once you get the right code, the TV will turn off and then it will be back on.

Without codes, you can program your Dish on Demand remote using the following steps:
- On the remote, press down the TV button and hold it until the buttons of “Sat,” “VCR” and “Aux” bring up light. After you release the TV button, you will see it flashing.
- The next thing to do is o press and release the remote’s Power button.
- Keep pressing the arrow up button and releasing until the TV turns off. When you see the codes, you will want to take your time to go through them as if you press the arrow key too fast, you may miss the code that works.
